Sealed and completely maintenance-free
Thanks to their unique construction and sealing technologies, our SSB Battery batteries are completely sealed. The latest in glass-fibre mat technology prevents premature drying out and allows for the batteries to be absolutely maintenance-free.
Long life
SSB Battery batteries are extremely low gas emission due to the internal gas recombination of > 99%, and in combination with a fl ame-retardant standard housing material in accordance with the UL94 standard, they benefi t from a particularly long service life. The VdS-certifi ed 12 V batteries by SSB Battery have a service life (Design Life) of 6 to 9 years (General Purpose) or 10 to 12 years (Long Life) according to EUROBAT.
Cycle stability
Our batteries can achieve up to approx. 650 charge/discharge cycles, depending on the depth of discharge.
Wide temperature range
SSB Battery batteries can be used in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C.
Storage
SSB Battery batteries have an extremely low self-discharge rate. They can be stored for up to 6 months at normal ambient temperature (20-25°C). We recommend that you then recharge them–as you would do every time prior to operation.
